What kind of bike should i get? A bmx or a mountain bike?
Right now i have a bmx bike but i want to know which bike is better for doing tricks and dirt jumping. My friend and i made a big jump in the woods and im not sure if i should jump on a bmx. If i can thats great but if i cant what kind of bike should i buy and what brand? (i dont want it to be too expensive tho)
If you want to do tricks on pavement and street, get a freestyle bike.
If you want to jump on dirt, get a bmx bike. These are easier to control in the air than a mountain bike.
If you want to go over terrain possibly long distances, get a mountain bike. You’ll need the gears if you plan to go over terrain and differnet elevations.
Personally, I think of you are a teenager, it may be time to think about a mountain bike instead of a BMX bike. If you are driving age, don’t get a BMX bike. Mountain bikes are still cool if you are diving a car but don’t look like a little kid on a BMX bike unless you and your friends are still hardcore into it.
Lastly, DON’T BUY A BIKE AT WAL-MART! Go to a real bike shop.
